Saturday: Mybeautybox and Prom

Saturday was the day of my prom.
I woke up at 10 and started my day with some breakfast. While sitting there my dad came in with my first Mybeautybox. If you don't know, Mybeautybox is a subscription box with beauty related stuff in it. You usually get 4 products that are either samples or full size. They cost 129 kr a month buy you get it cheaper if you pay for 3, 6 or 12 months at once. I ordered a 3 month subscription where you get one box a month. I must say, i was pretty happy for my first box!

 I got a set of Eylure false lashes, a Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in a blueish gray color called Gray by Gray, a Rimmel Glam Eyes Eyeliner in a purple color, a BodyNordic Kiss & Makeup Lip Gloss in brown, a sample of BodyNordic's protecting hand and nail cream and a Easysun tanning towelette.

The only thing i couldn't use was the liner, because of the color. Purple is not a good match for me, specially not when you have blue eyes, then you need some gold or bronze to compliment the color. I have already tried the hand cream and it is very moisturizing cream. There might be like 3 more uses in the sample, so it is not a small one, even though it is just a foil packet. The lip gloss is really pretty. I wore it at my prom and i loved the color. the color was very natural and shimmery but so pretty. The nail polish is more like a fall color, but i have tried it on one of my nails.

The value of my box was 338,82 kr and i only paid 129 for it. I am really happy about it! This box's theme was Fast Glam, so it was make up for women on the go. I like this concept and i am looking forward to my next box!

After looking at my box, i took a long shower and after that i started on my makeup. I know a lot of girls pay their hairdresser to do their hair and makeup, but i don't have that kind of money and i figured that i could do it myself, so i did. I used about 2 hours on my hair and makeup but that was because i messed up a couple of times and had to redo it. But it all went well and i was ready in time for us driving to Copenhagen where we were going to dance Les Lanciers.

When we got into Copenhagen there was this huge demonstration because of 4/20 which is also national marijuana day. So there was a demonstration for legalizing marijuana and they were all over the space where we were going to dance. Luckily they left for a walk around the city 15 minutes before we had scheduled to dance, so it all worked out fine.

 That is me, standing in my prom dress with trash and marijuana all over the place. It all worked out great, except for the low music so we couldn't hear when to do what, but it was alright.
After the dance, we took a group photo on the stairs in front of Copenhagen's town hall ad then we walked to the restaurant where we were going to eat. It was this Turkish place called Sultan Place and the food was great. I don't think anyone walked away from the restaurant hungry anyways. After a couple of hours we walked down to the place where out bus was going to pick us up. We had rented a partybus and that was probably the most fun thing i have ever tried with my class. We drove out to the little mermaid my the ocean and there we had more pictures taken. after that we just drove a bit around in Copenhagen while listening to loud music and drinking alcohol. We all  had fun, but because of all the alcohol that was consumed we had to stop twice in 2 hours to get to a bathroom.. The driver did not like us at the end of the ride..

When we got to the school, we walked up the red carpet and got even more pictures taken. All the pictures..! Then we were going to dance in front of our parents in the gym. That went a lot better than in Copenhagen because we could hear the music and then it was a lot easier, but unfortunately i stepped in my dress and almost fell over, but i didn't and i just danced on. So embarrassing! The rest of the night i only danced the Lanciers dances and not on the dancefloor between the dances because i was afraid someone would step on my dress and ruin me. But i danced all the dances and then i went home and straight to bed.. after i had removed my makeup, gotten out of the dress, fixed my hair and brushed my teeth. We had actually gotten an offer at a disco to get in for free and there was going to be some cheap drinks, but i was not in the mood and certainly not in my prom dress! When i got home i got a call from Simon and we talked a bit before i went to bed. All in all, a great day!

New arrivals and a rage

In the last month or so, i've ordered quite a lot of stuff and i just wanted to show you what i got and tell you a little about it and how i like it.

Let's start with some lip products that i bought from Asos

These are the Rimmel London Apocalips lip lacquers. They are kind of fluid lipsticks with a build-in gloss. They are really pigmented and i love them. I got them in the colors Big Bang, the red, and Apocaliptic, the pink. Here they are on my lips:

Also i ordered a couple of dresses from Members which you have already seen, but here they are on me :)
And yes, i am well aware of my mess :)

I don't really know which one of them i like the best, because they are both really pretty! :)

The last thing i ordered a couple of days ago was some shoes. They have also arrived and they are really tall!

They are surprisingly comfortable, even though they remind me of stilts. They are great to walk in also! My plan for these was to wear them for prom, but i don't really know.. I got my dress back from the tailor's today and i tried it on with the shoes and they didn't quite seem to match my dress, but i am pretty sure that i am going to use these shoes anyways at some point because they are really great! The only downside is that the glitter is everywhere after you've tried them on and it can kinda scratch, but clear nail polish and hairspray should do the trick. For my prom dress i think i'm just gonna stick with my nude pumps instead.

Now for the rage. This might seem stupid to some of you, but this really made me angry and i don't want to put up with it. At my school, we have a school football tournament. I am on my class' team with four other guys and one other girl. We have played to matches where we lost one and the other one was tied. Today we played our second match which ended 1-1 which is okay, i mean, it's better than losing. Some of the guys really get into these matches where i and the other girl just sees it as fun, which might annoy some of the boys. One of the boys takes this tournament really serious and gets really mad if we lose, come on, it's just a game!!, and today he really stepped on my toes because of a thing he said. He is one of those guys who's full of himself and no one id good enough for him, you know, a real douche. He is one of those types who can't play on a team, he just runs his own show and it doesn't help when he is the one scoring the goals. Well, after the match he said that it was the girls fault that the other team scored a goal. What the fuck!? He hasn't given a reason why it was our fault, but i just don't see it. The match were supposed to start at 11:40 and when we (the other girl and i) walked down to the field, they were already playing? He had apparently been pretty eager to start the match, with or without us - Not our fault we were late. When us girls are on the field and scores a goal, we get 2 points instead of 1 so it is smart to play us if there is a chance of a goal, but when they don't play us we just kinda feel like we are in the way because of the small field. Now, i don't see how it can be our fault they scored, it wasn't like we handed over the ball to them? That is why we have decided to not play any more. Let's see if they do any better without us and out numbered. Let's see who gets the fault when we aren't there to take the blame anymore. It is just so ridiculous and he is really just a huge jerk who needs a high five in the face with a chair made of steel. And that is just how it is.  

Prom among other things

We are getting closer and closer to prom and i don't really know what to expect from the entire day. Right now i think the dancing in Copenhagen, the dining and the ride to the school is going to be fun, but the party at the school is something i am a bit doubtful about. Mostly because the parties at the school have gradually gotten more boring and less people have been showing up. I think the reason is the fact that there is a lot of smokers on the school and it is no longer allowed to smoke on the schools premises so a lot of the students choose not to go to the parties, just because they can't smoke. Also i'd rather expect a lot less and be pleasantly surprised than being disappointed for making too high expectations.

My dress is still at the tailor's and i haven't heard anything from her yet, but as long as it gets done before next Saturday, i'm happy. I've just kinda counted on wearing my nude pumps with my dress but now i am looking at these babies:

I think they are really pretty and kinda special but i don't know if it is my style or something i will wear a whole lot. I don't wanna buy them just for this event, you know? They are 13,5 cm high, have a 5 cm plateau  and with a heel as thick as those, they should be pretty comfortable. Also, i love the color and i think they will fit my dress really nice. They are not too expensive, but i know that if i'm gonna buy them, it has to be soon so they can arrive on time. If you are interested in these shoes, you can buy them here

Remember when i talked about the trouble me and Iben probably were going to make? We kinda dyed her hair a crazy color and we have to do it again right before prom, because it is already kinda washed out. But we dyed her beautiful red hair, pink in the ends, like a dip-die. It was soooo pretty!!
This week we are going to dye my hair, because i'm not gonna have totally dark roots at my prom! :)
Next week i am going to the hairdresser to get a haircut. I think the last time i got one was in September, so my hair could probably use it. Even more because of the dyeing. When you bleach your hair it gets more damaged and dry than if you dye your hair any other color. Also, my hair is a bit too long for the hairdo i want to.

Recently i've ordered two new dresses that i am really exited to try on when they get here. I think they are really pretty and i've been eyeing one of them for a long time and when it was on a sale, i chose to buy it. Here they are:

My spring break

Today I dropped off my dress at the tailors to get it fixed and luckily for me, she said that it could be done, so I'm very happy about that.

This morning Iben dropped by to pick up her books. We ate and talked and in the next couple of weeks we are going to make some trouble, as we always do! ;)

Yesterday Simon came by. It had kinda been a long time since we last saw each other so it was really nice to see him again. We watched some movies, ate pizza and talked a bit.

Wednesday I was out shopping with my sisters and my mom. We went to Lyngby where we looked around in shops like H&M, Fona, Pieces, Only, Vila and Magasin. In Magasin I got a dress which was on a great discount. It had went from 699 kr to 199 kr, so I couldn't say no to it. Also, my mon chose to buy it for me so I didn't actually spend any money. Then we went on Sunset for lunch and when we got home, my mom and sister made Easter dinner while I slept off a stupid headache.

I don't really feel like I've been doing anything this spring break but obviously I have.. :)

It's getting closer!

The prom is getting closer and closer.
I ordered my dress a couple of weeks ago, and it had to be imported from USA, which is why it took so long for them to ship it, but Wednesday i got a text saying my dress was in the post office.
I got so excited and happy. Thursday i picked it up and i could not wait to try it on even though i had to do tons of other things. I tried it on and sadly, it's a little too big. Luckily we know a female tailor who can sow the dress into my size.
Yesterday i was fooling around with my hair to figure out how to do it for prom and i think i got it down pretty much! I think it's gonna be something like this hair-do.

I'm still figuring out what kind of shoes to wear or if i need to buy some new ones, but i think it will be my nude heels.

The same day i got an order home from E.L.F cosmetics. It's really affordable and great quality considering the prize so it's always nice to get what you've ordered.
I also just ordered some more make up, a pair of sunglasses and some fashion tape for my prom dress so it wont fall down when i'm dancing at the prom from ASOS.I just can't help ordering stuff. Lately i've been a lot into lip stuff like lipsticks, lip glosses and lip liners. Don't know why but i really like it.

Friday i was at my last test before spring break and i don't know how to think it went. I mean, i answered all of the questions and had one hour left. Didn't want to screw it up so i just left.
Now i only need to do one last essay before my real break begins. Stupid danish teacher..

My plan for next week is:
Monday: Paint the guest room, go to movie night at Pernille's.
Tuesday: Work out..? I've got these work out movies that i've been wanting to try!
Wednesday: Go to Lyngby with my sister and mother for shopping
Thursday-Sunday: Home alone... What to do then? :)
Maybe have some friends over? Clean up my room.. Maybe.. I really don't know yet, all i know is that i have to take care of my sisters fish and bunny.. I'm probably gonna forget it..


Once again - I'm sorry for not posting! Last week was full of tests, the week before that was full of a lot of anger and stuff and i probably should tell you what it is all about, but i don't think it matters any more because of the tests..

My life right now..

I've just come to think a little..My life is actually pretty good right now. And now you are probably thinking "What's so good about it?" Well i'm going to tell you! Even if you didn't think that! ;)

For one thing, I've just ordered my dress for prom and i absolutely love it! I, like every other girl, had some pretty high standards for my dress. It had to be a pretty color that will look good on me, it could not be sent from another country than Denmark because of difficulty with the sizes and stuff and it also had to be a dress i could wear again and i found one.. Obviously, or else i wouldn't have ordered it.

Another thing is that i only have 38 real schooldays left before the exams and then i'm done. Totally done. I still don't know what to do afterwards but i think i will try to find a job and work for a year while i try to figure out what to study. 

This weekend is going to be pretty great. There should be a Fredagscafé but it got cancelled so now Iben and i are going to get some pizza and drink some wine together, maybe watch a movie, we haven't figured out the details yet. Saturday is my dads birthday and therefore i'm going to eat dinner with my family and after that i'm going to Pernille's 20th birthday party. Probably gonna get a bit tipsy!

Next Friday is a day i'm looking forward to too. It's the first time i'm going out to a bar in the city to drink and party and i actually find it kinda weird that i haven't been this excited about something like this before. The other times that i've been invited to a bar or something like that, i've never been excited about it and it always ends up with me not going. I don't know if it has been because of the other people who was invited, or i haven't had the money or i just didn't want to, but this time i am genuinely excited and i am looking forward to it! Also the Fredagscafé has been moved to this day so that is also a plus.

A third thing is that i have great friends. Not that i've just realized that, but i do. My friends are always there for me and even when we have our differences and get into a discussion it always works out again, one way or another. I really love and care for my friends and it is just great knowing, that they feel the same way too. Or at least some of them do.. But still! Family and friends is what is most important in my world. Which is also why i know that i'm gonna miss a hell of a lot of them when they all start their education or if they're going travelling and so on because even though we have those differences, it is what makes us who we are. 

It's late and i'm getting waaaaaay to poetic about this blog post so i'm going to bed now.. G'night! 

I know, i know.. But!

Iv'e been kinda absent from the blog but i don't feel like blogging about anything, just because i have to put out a post. I want some content in my blog, not just random stuff.. But i am blogging now and i must admit, i kinda missed it :)

I finally think my quest for a promdress is complete. I've found a really pretty one and i love the fact that it can be used for other occasions than prom! I love this dress especially in purple! My only problem now is that i still don't have a partner.. Also i don't know if i have the shoes and i have no idea of how to do my hair and make up, but it is going to be okay.. hopefully!
I my class we have a really hard time deciding anything really and with prom and graduation around the corner, we have a lot of planning to do. We need to plan where to eat and how to get to the school for prom  and the transportation is settled, now it's only the place to eat and because people is picky, cheap and full of opinions, we still don't know where to go. Many of the girls vetoed any Chinese or fast food place because of the smell, the boys vetoed Riz Raz because they needed meat and now we're at lost.. I don't get it. Copenhagen is a big city with quite a lot of restaurants, so the fact that we don't know where to go, is kinda ridiculous. For the graduation we already last year booked a truck to drive around in and now, because we are so many students in my class, we need to find a way to get home to everybody without making the trip extremely long.. I think we are at about 10 hours without delays but there will be delays, it can't be avoided.. It's gonna be a looooooooong trip!

Do you guys remember when i had to write SRP?
People started getting the grade a couple of weeks ago and i got more and more anxious when my friends got their grades. And the waiting time wasn't helping either.

I expected the worst of my grade. I told myself that i would be happy if i got 4, but i was expecting 02, so you can imagine my reaction when i was told i got 7! I couldn't stop smiling and when i got into the classroom again, i let out a small scream of happiness and jumped around a bit before calling my mom and texting my dad.
I got my grade this Friday and in the evening there was a party at the school. I got drunk and had a great party! There is probably a few things i can't remember but i had fun!


Next week is vacation time and it is also time for the trip to my summerhouse! It is going to be great and i can't wait! There is just this little thing i need to talk with the others about, but i'll figure it out!

On the look-out for a prom dress

Because it is my last year at this school, we are going to have a prom, with long dresses, tuxes and not to forget, les lanciers. 
Because of this, i've been looking for a pretty dress and right now i have two to choose from. I love them both! I think they are sooo pretty, i just can't decide! What do you guys think?

Don't think too much about the color, it can be changed into any other color i could want. I just can't choose from these two. I don't know if there will be more prom dresses to come, but these are the ones i'm thinking right now.

And just so you guys can follow, i'm going to tell you what i'm up to the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow, there is Fredagscafé on the school, yay! Saturday i'm going to a birthday brunch and a birthday party. Sunday is going to be a day to relax and really get into the Christmas mood. I'm going to make candle decorations for my dads work and earn a little bit of money that way. There will also be Christmas music, Glögg and æbleskiver :D Wednesday at 3 pm i'm going to start on my SRP assignment, but then again.. Thursday i have a plan to go to the movies with Iben to see the last twilight movie, just because we have to. We're also going to eat nachos and have coffee from Baresso - can't wait! Friday is the day for SRP.. But i also have to cook food for the Christmas party i'm going to with my cousins that Saturday. And then it is just SRP, SRP, SRP... Oh the joy!

Just a quick thing! I received a package today. It was my beautiful red shoes that i have been wanting for a really long time! They are gorgeous! 

Almost out of school

I'm a senior at my school. That means i only have about 6 months left all in all.

Being a senior means, of course, being the oldest and most awesome! But it also means paying up. Last year i "only" had to pay for the school trip to Sofia. This year i have to pay for the hat you wear when you graduate, the truck we are going to drive in after graduation, the dress for my graduation, my prom dress, shoes, hair, make up, nails, limo ride, dinner at (probably) Hard Rock Cafe and now also (maybe) another school trip! I am poor before i graduate!

Luckily my parents have agreed to pay for the hat and maybe the truck ride too, but the rest of it is stuff i have to pay.

Last year it was about 3500 + allowance, but my parents paid most of it.
This year it will be much more! 500 for the hat, 750 for the truck, 3-400 for the dress, 500-1500 for the prom dress, 2-400 for the shoes, 350 for hair and make up, 4-500 for the nails, 5-700 for the limo ride, i do not know how much the dinner might be but the school trip will end up at about 1500. That is almost 4000 that i alone have to pay.. Good thing i get student grant.. Maybe i should get a job..?

The thing is, these last couple of years had been a real joy and i might have made some friendships that will last for a very long time, also after we are done in school. There are boys and girls in my class that i hope will stay my friends even after we have started our educations on universities and stuff like that. I am looking forward to some crazy parties and nights out. 

It's kinda sad to know it's all going to end this summer. All the parties at the school, all the fun times i've had at and after school and even though it wasn't the school that made those moments, but the people i was with, tall the memories are connected to the school and this summer, i will probably never come back to the school again..

I don't know what the point of this blog post is, but i just came to think about it and felt like writing about it.

One last thing - I am not a vary patient person. That is something i have come to know about myself. A have ordered something from England last week and i usually takes about 3-4 work days before it comes here, but it's been a week and i haven't seen anything. I really wanted it last Thursday, but the one package will probably first come tomorrow and the other one will probably first be here Thursday.. I want it now! :(
