Vacation and other stuff!

I am very much aware of the fact that i haven't been blogging.
The thing is.. I just haven't had the time..
Yes I've been on vacation and yes i could probably have blogged there, but i didn't. I just didn't feel like sitting in front a computer all night for a blog post.

I can tell you what i have been doing, if you want me to?
I graduated from school and the week after that, there was a lot of parties and fun. Then i came down, where i am now, to work for a little week and after that i went to Langelandsfestivalen. It was great, even though the music didn't really come first. There was quite a few artist i wanted to see, but didn't because of the weather. Not because it was raining or too cold, but because it was too hot to stand in the sun and when your energy have been drained all day by the sun, one of the last things you want to do is standing up for an hour or two. I was also sick for two days and there my energy was even more drained. I slept the whole day, didn't really eat and only moved outside my tent if i had to go to the toilet. Everyone at my camp was really nice and helpful, asking if i wanted something to eat or if i wanted to lay outside in the shade, they were taking really good care of me.
When we got home, which was one long trip!, I spend the night at Simon's and the next day was my birthday. So at night my grandparents and I drove in to my sisters apartment and ate dinner and the next day, we were off to Spain. We spend almost two weeks in Barcelona going around the city and watching everything that had to be watched. I think i'm done with Barcelona for a while.. unless it is on a shopping vacation and in that case, i need to make some more money!
After we got home, i had about 2 days before i was going to Lolland, more precisely, Nysted, to work for my godmother. That was about a month ago and I've been every now and again taking the train back and forth if i had to do anything at home, like a party or a birthday or something like that.

Since my last blog, my addiction has moved from The Vampire Diaries to Two Broke Girls. I'm actually waiting for a new season on that, on Awkward. and on Pretty Little Liars, so maybe i should get back to watching The Vampire Diaries? I mean, I am only 2 seasons in that and I know for a fact that there is a lot more! I've also come across a problem i haven't really had before. I don't have enough internet on my iphone. 2GB is enough when you are going to facebook and so on, using your 3G like that, but for watching series and films on youtube, it is definitively not enough. Maybe it's because it's the only thing I've got to watch down here. There is no working TV, no Wifi and almost no signal.. Great.. so for the last two month i have bought 6 and 10 extra GB just because i ran out. It's really not that expensive, but 2GB on 40 days is not enough for me anymore..

I am actually at work right now, but there is no one on the streets and therefore no customers.. Really boring! Because when there is no customers, we have to clean... and I'm not a fan of cleaning.. So right now i am waiting on my godmother to get back from a meeting so i can get home to little Ganløse and have some real fun!

Busy, busy, busy!

Sorry that i haven't been blogging. I've just been so busy lately. All i do right now is study for my finals and it is getting pretty boring..!

There is about 4 days until i'm done and i can't wait! I am sick of reading all of this stuff that i am probably never going to use again, but it might help on my finals.

I am happy to say that i am going to graduate and get my hat, but it has been a journey to get here. During the last three years i have had the greatest time of my life and made some really good friends. Hopefully we'll keep the contact even though some of them are going to uni. 

For the last couple of weeks i have been going to finals. The written exams were okay but in the lower end of the scale. The others have been pretty good and i am pleased with the results. Now my final exam is this Monday and it is in religion. I don't really know how to prepare but i'm trying. I am the first to go to this exam and the first to get my hat, but it is kinda nerve racking. I have no idea how this exam is going to run and when you are the first one, it can go so wrong or so right. Hopefully it will go just fine.

Even though I've been studying for my exams, I've also done some other things. I've been out with Mette and Iben to finally get the sushi I've wanted for so long, I've gotten a tragus piercing, I've been to the beach with my friends, I've been to Buresø with Iben, I've been to Ballerup with Iben.. I've been doing quite a few things actually and my summer is pretty booked as well. 

Monday i'm getting my hat, but i am staying on the school to see my classmates get their hat too. Also i have some packages i need to get at the post office and that evening, we have family and friends coming over to celebrate me graduating. Friday is the day for graduation on the school and the day I've been looking forward to since prom. We are going on our truck ride. It is going to be wild. My entire class are going to have a party in a truck where we are driving from one students house to the next. It is just going to be awesome! And after the party bus ride we had at prom, my expectations are high. Then comes the parties. I am invited to 6 graduation parties and i am throwing one myself, but mine is mixed with my birthday. I believe that the girls and i are going to hit some clubs to celebrate as well, but you never know.

Hopefully there isn't going to be any parties while i am on Lolland. Just because i don't want to miss anything, but i also need the money that i am going to make. I promised my godmother to come down between the 8th and the 12th. Then i have a few days at home before going to Langelandsfestivalen for about two weeks. The girls and i will be down there fro the 16th and we will go home the 28th. The 29th is my birthday and i am home alone.. But I've made plans with my grandparents so i don't have to sit home alone. The 30th  i am going to Barcelona with my sister and her boyfriend and when we get there, our parents will come get us at the airport. We are going to stay there until the 10th and then i am probably going to Lolland again before either starting a job or start looking for a job. I already feel kinda stressed out about all of my plans.

My Week, Finals, Graduation and Mybeautybox

Finally i have some time to sit down and actually write a blog post.

This Tuesday was my last day of school and because of that we had a great time, with breakfast in school, fought with water, played football against the teacher, dressed up in costumes and partied all night. The students actually won against the teachers and sadly, my iphone got water on it so it kind of has a water damage now..
We slept in tents on the school grounds, but it rained and we were 3 persons in a tent for 2 so the rain kinda went right through the tent... We were told our finals Wednesday morning at 8:45 and i apparently drew the short straw, because i have not one, but two math exams and i, if you don't know, hate this kind of math, so that is great.. My last exam is religion and i'm quite pleased with that :) I am officially done with school the 24th at 9:18, where i am done with my last exam and on the 28th there is graduation and then there is the truck ride around to all of our parents and it is going to be wild!

I had my first exam this Friday, it was danish exam and i felt like it went okay :) after the exam i went down and bought some snacks, for the party the entire class was invited to, and picked up a package. It was in my teachers apartment and it was really cozy and fun, but i went home at 00:30 because i just felt too tired to stay anymore.  Even though i went home early, i had a great evening and i actually ended up being grill master. I was so good! It was delicious!

Before going to the party, i opened the package that i had gotten and it was MyBeautyBox! It is always a surprise what you get in those.

 I got a Sally Hansen nail polish with a crackle effect in Ink Splatter, a Astor VIP 3 tone blush in the color 003 - brown, a W7 mascara  called Show Stopper in blackest black and a Sinful Colors Extra Shiny Lipgloss in 2280 Virginia Beach. All full size products with a total value of 290 kr for the prize of 129 kr. It was okay, but i was more impressed with my last box. This box' theme was Fun and Flirty Beauty.

The nailpolish is great. I already know, and i haven't even tried it on my nails yet. I have a nailpolish in the same style from OPI, but it was really expensive and it has already gotten thick. This one is only half the price and i know and love the Sally Hansen polishes.

Here it is over some white nailpolish. 

The 3 tone blush is not something i am impressed with. It has a brown/orange color and it is just not something i would use as a blush. I can probably make it work at a bronzer, but not as a blush. I am more into the pink and peach shades when it comes to blushes.It is also very shimmery and it is just not that good. It feels smooth and silky, but i am not into the color of it. Hopefully i can make this work for me, because if not it is just a waste..

The mascara is another thing that i am not that impressed about. When i go out looking for a new mascara, i look for the most volumizing mascara because i already have the length and the curve. This mascara is a fiber mascara, which should attach to the lashes, making them longer and fuller. For me, it gives more length than volume and it is sadly not what i am searching, but i think it could work if you layer it with some other mascaras. Is has a flat cone shaped brush and i am not really into it.

The last thing was the lipgloss. It has a nice pink color, but it is also very pigmented and i didn't really expect that. It has a vanilla scent which isn't very pleasant and it is kind of sticky. I am not really into it, right now, but maybe i can make this one work also. I don't know yet. Maybe if i only wear a thin coat?

All in all this box was kind of a miss for me. The only thing i really liked was the nailpolish but let's just see if i like the others in some time.

Yesterday i spend with Simon. It has been so long since we were together, just the two of us and yesterday we both had time, finally. We didn't really do that much, but i really enjoy spending time with him. 

Today has been a day where i have been relaxing before the reading begins. I have to study before going to the exam on Wednesday so i can do just a little bit better than the tests we have made. 

Saturday: Mybeautybox and Prom

Saturday was the day of my prom.
I woke up at 10 and started my day with some breakfast. While sitting there my dad came in with my first Mybeautybox. If you don't know, Mybeautybox is a subscription box with beauty related stuff in it. You usually get 4 products that are either samples or full size. They cost 129 kr a month buy you get it cheaper if you pay for 3, 6 or 12 months at once. I ordered a 3 month subscription where you get one box a month. I must say, i was pretty happy for my first box!

 I got a set of Eylure false lashes, a Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in a blueish gray color called Gray by Gray, a Rimmel Glam Eyes Eyeliner in a purple color, a BodyNordic Kiss & Makeup Lip Gloss in brown, a sample of BodyNordic's protecting hand and nail cream and a Easysun tanning towelette.

The only thing i couldn't use was the liner, because of the color. Purple is not a good match for me, specially not when you have blue eyes, then you need some gold or bronze to compliment the color. I have already tried the hand cream and it is very moisturizing cream. There might be like 3 more uses in the sample, so it is not a small one, even though it is just a foil packet. The lip gloss is really pretty. I wore it at my prom and i loved the color. the color was very natural and shimmery but so pretty. The nail polish is more like a fall color, but i have tried it on one of my nails.

The value of my box was 338,82 kr and i only paid 129 for it. I am really happy about it! This box's theme was Fast Glam, so it was make up for women on the go. I like this concept and i am looking forward to my next box!

After looking at my box, i took a long shower and after that i started on my makeup. I know a lot of girls pay their hairdresser to do their hair and makeup, but i don't have that kind of money and i figured that i could do it myself, so i did. I used about 2 hours on my hair and makeup but that was because i messed up a couple of times and had to redo it. But it all went well and i was ready in time for us driving to Copenhagen where we were going to dance Les Lanciers.

When we got into Copenhagen there was this huge demonstration because of 4/20 which is also national marijuana day. So there was a demonstration for legalizing marijuana and they were all over the space where we were going to dance. Luckily they left for a walk around the city 15 minutes before we had scheduled to dance, so it all worked out fine.

 That is me, standing in my prom dress with trash and marijuana all over the place. It all worked out great, except for the low music so we couldn't hear when to do what, but it was alright.
After the dance, we took a group photo on the stairs in front of Copenhagen's town hall ad then we walked to the restaurant where we were going to eat. It was this Turkish place called Sultan Place and the food was great. I don't think anyone walked away from the restaurant hungry anyways. After a couple of hours we walked down to the place where out bus was going to pick us up. We had rented a partybus and that was probably the most fun thing i have ever tried with my class. We drove out to the little mermaid my the ocean and there we had more pictures taken. after that we just drove a bit around in Copenhagen while listening to loud music and drinking alcohol. We all  had fun, but because of all the alcohol that was consumed we had to stop twice in 2 hours to get to a bathroom.. The driver did not like us at the end of the ride..

When we got to the school, we walked up the red carpet and got even more pictures taken. All the pictures..! Then we were going to dance in front of our parents in the gym. That went a lot better than in Copenhagen because we could hear the music and then it was a lot easier, but unfortunately i stepped in my dress and almost fell over, but i didn't and i just danced on. So embarrassing! The rest of the night i only danced the Lanciers dances and not on the dancefloor between the dances because i was afraid someone would step on my dress and ruin me. But i danced all the dances and then i went home and straight to bed.. after i had removed my makeup, gotten out of the dress, fixed my hair and brushed my teeth. We had actually gotten an offer at a disco to get in for free and there was going to be some cheap drinks, but i was not in the mood and certainly not in my prom dress! When i got home i got a call from Simon and we talked a bit before i went to bed. All in all, a great day!

Another eargasm!

I have a couple of songs that i have fallen in love with recently.

This one have been running on repeat on my phone and my computer. Oh my god i love it! It's like a mixture of Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and some kind of 80's music. It's just awesome!! The lyrics are kind of dirty, but which song hasn't got dirty lyrics today? I mean, there is not a lot of the songs made today which hasn't got a bit of sex in it. It's T.I., Pharrell and a guy called Robin Thicke. He has the prettiest eyes.. Wow..

The other one is a cover of Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man. It's Noah who sings it, and i really love this song. The lyrics are so sweet and urgh..! I just love it.
