Yearh, well... That didn't quite happen. You see, i couldn't get the network to work, so i just said to my self: "You know what? You can write the diary when you get home!" Then, i got sick and i didn't feel like i had the energy to write 5 blog posts right after each other.
BUT! Then i will just write EVERYTHING we did right now! So if you don't wanna know or already know, this might not be fun to read...
Monday
Monday started out at 3:45 where i got up and took a shower. I packed the last stuff and we went off to the airport. We flew at 7:10, caught two planes and arrived just around 14. In the first plane to Vienna, i was not able to sleep. Maybe it was the coffee i had had or something else but i just couldn't. In the second plane i went out as a light. I fell asleep when we took off and waked just when we got something to eat. Then we took a bus to the hotel, which my teachers had a bit of difficulty finding, but we did it and we checked in. My and my roommate Michelle were the only ones to get a room on the 1st floor so we switched it to one on 3rd after some trouble. After an hour in our rooms, we met up and went for a walk in the city. We got a map and got a restaurant to be at 19:00 and then we went off en small groups. Then when we tried to find the freaking restaurant, it wasn't where we were told so we called our teacher and he told us where to go. We got some typical Bulgarian food and afterwards we walked to McDonnalds to get an ice cream. Then we went back to the hotel stayed in and held a small party in two of the boy's room. Michelle and i passed out at around 23 local time which is plus one hour - SOO TIRED!
Tuesday
We had to be ready at 9 in the lobby that morning, but our teachers didn't come before 9:30 so we were pretty annoyed when they came, because a lot of us had a small hangover and were tired. We had to wander around to see and listen to some subjects we had had back in school. We heard about a couple of churches and we saw the presidents work place.Aleksandr Nevsky church |

Wednesday
The failed day, as i like to call it. We were going to the mountains outside Sofia so we took a bus, or a couple and ended by the lift, which wasn't going anywhere, because it was closed. So instead of waiting for the bus to come back, we walked down the mountain until there was a huge road. Then we took another bus to another stop and then we walked just around 1 km to the next stop, waited for 20-30 mins and then we took the bus to the trolley where we got tickets for punching the wrong side and then we walked to a coffee shop for a coffee break.Thursday
We went to a little market in the poor end of the city, where we, once again, walked the wrong way.. We saw something called "The women's market" and another market before entering a mosque where we had to loose the shoes and cover up our hair, or the girls had to. Then we went to an old spa where there were springs of hot water. They were each good for some of your organs so i drank a little of each (; after lunch and coffee, we went out shopping! A lot from my class went to the Sofia Mall, but some friends and i stayed in the city and just took a hot bath, slept and relaxed. After the boys invited to dinner which we had to pay for ourselves (the teachers payed mine!) we got back the the hotel, got dressed and went out to find a bar. All the other evenings we ended up at a bar near the hotel called Oscar Club, but tonight we didn't want to so we walked and walked and walked. Then we decided to go to Funky Town again, get a couple of drinks and then we walked on the find another bar. We ended up at Oscar again but tonight, nobody really wanted to come in with me and Pernille and when nobody told us that everyone had left so we stormed out and ran up to my room where we stayed till we went to bed.Friday
I could already feel when i woke up that something wasn't right. I went up, got dressed and then packed. I had packed a whole lot the night before so there wasn't much left. Then i laid in bed and watched TV until we had to meet, but just before going i felt really sick so when we got down i was really pale and just before we had to go, i had to run to the bathroom to see if i could get better, but no. I had to walk around feeling sick all day. We walked - once again, the wrong way - to a monument Stalin had build for the people and one to honor himself. Both of them were really boring and when you are sick, you just want to feel better!Just when i thought my sickness was gone and i could eat just a bit, it got worse and we had to go. I had to carry my bag down to the bus stop and when we sat in the but the boys talked about a bearded lady and it was disgusting. In the airport i had a fever and i got some panodil for it. Then i laid down in at the gate and fell asleep. The first flight was okay, though i couldn't sleep. We were told to run to the other gate because it had to go, but all of a sudden, it was 40 mins late and i felt really bad. I laid down on the metal chairs and relaxed until we had to board the plane. In this plane i got really sick. I was freezing and i threw up twice in 15 mins in the bathroom. When we landed it wasn't much better, i just wanted to go home and sleep and the following days, i still felt sick..
So that is my story - hope you enjoyed it!
I wanna curl into bed now. Goodnight! :)
